The fishing village of Chiryatapu is located in the southernmost point of South Andaman, an hour's drive from Port Blair. Local sandy beaches are very popular among visitors.
Forest walks in the rainforests are designed for ornithologists, as there are many species of birds here: rare kingfishers, nectaries, woodpeckers and eagles. On the beaches of picturesque Mundipahar there are excellent conditions for scuba diving, there are good camping sites.
In the biological park, which is managed by the Forest Department, there are animals present in the Zoo of Port Blair.
